The Packable Palm Corona

The Packable Palm Corona is a handwoven jipijapa traditional hat from Campeche, Mexico. Each hat takes 6-15 days to make using fibers from the inner layers of a palm leaf. Underground caves are required to makes these hats since they provide enough humidty so that the palm does not break or suffer any damage.  Since the materials the artisans use to develop them are natural they can have a variety of characteristics or colors. For this reason, we can't promise absolute perfection and none of our pieces are idential due to them being handwoven with truly makes them one of a kind. 

The Packable Palm Corona can be bent in half and stored away when traveling. Each piece comes with a dust bag and 3 interchangable hat bands. Care Wipe with a clean, dry cloth Do not use chemical cleaners or bleach. 

Each hat takes up to 15 days to hand make and may have slight imperfections that make them unqiue and one of a kind.
